BizBolster Reputation Manager Privacy Policy

BizBolster Web Solutions, LLC (“BizBolster,” “we,” “us” or “our”) operates BizBolster Reputation Manager at https://reputation.bizbolster.com. This policy explains how we handle information in that application, including information accessed through Google APIs.

This policy supplements the BizBolster website Privacy Policy at https://www.bizbolster.com/privacy. For application data, the specific rules below govern any conflicting general website provisions. In particular, the website policy’s advertising and marketing provisions do not authorize those uses of Google API data.

Information we access and collect

When an authorized administrator signs in or connects Google, we receive information needed to verify that administrator’s identity, such as their Google account identifier and verified email address. Google authorization provides access tokens and, where issued, a refresh token that allows the connection to continue without requesting permission at every sync.

For connected Google Business Profiles, we access accounts and locations available to the connected account, location identifiers, business names and addresses, and review information returned by Google. Review information may include a review identifier, reviewer display name and profile information, star rating, review text, and creation or update dates. Responses from Google may contain additional source metadata.

We also process client and location mappings, reviews imported from SoTellUs or entered by an administrator, review status settings, notes, duplicate decisions, source history, and records of import or sync outcomes. We use operational information needed to diagnose errors and protect the service.

Why we use this information

We use information to authenticate the administrator, maintain authorized connections, identify the correct business locations, read and update review records, detect possible duplicates, and apply the client’s review settings. We also use it to show connection and sync status, support the service and investigate security or technical problems.

The Google Business Profile permission used by this application is business.manage. Although that permission can allow broader actions, the current application uses its Google connection to read business account information, locations and reviews. It does not post replies, change listings or modify reviews on Google. A Google connection is separate from ordinary application sign-in.

Website exports, when separately enabled and authorized, may send eligible review content and reviewer attribution to the selected client’s website or designated spreadsheet. Such content becomes public if displayed on a public website. Authorization credentials and private administrative notes are not website content. Website exports remain subject to the source provider’s rules.

Google data restrictions

We use and transfer Google API data in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy

Google API data is used for the application features described here. It is not sold, rented, supplied to data brokers, used for advertising or retargeting, used to determine creditworthiness, or used to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.

Human access to Google API data is limited to the authorized service use the account holder requests, technical support with appropriate permission, necessary security investigations, and legal requirements. A general website marketing permission does not expand these uses.

Sharing and service providers

We use Duda to host the application and provide its platform services. Google provides identity, authorization and Business Profile data. SoTellUs provides reviews when its import connection is used. These providers process information needed to deliver their respective services.

Application information is available to authorized BizBolster personnel as needed to provide the requested service. Information for one client is not intentionally made available to another client through the application. Any future website or spreadsheet destination must be authorized for the correct client.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law or when necessary to address security threats. Transfers of Google API data must also satisfy Google’s applicable data-use rules. Other providers operate under their own privacy policies.

Storage and security

Application records are stored using the application platform’s database. Saved Google authorization tokens are encrypted before being stored by the application. The Google connection actions are restricted to the designated administrator, and communication with Google uses HTTPS.

The application uses browser storage to complete its Google authorization flow and may use session technologies supplied by the hosting platform. Blocking required storage can prevent connection or sign-in features from working.

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their Google accounts and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

Retention and your choices

Google API review content is subject to Google’s applicable content-storage limits. This policy does not authorize permanent archiving of that content. Client settings, service records and information from other sources may have different retention needs, including providing the service and meeting applicable legal requirements.

An account holder can revoke the application’s access through their Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revocation prevents further authorized access; it does not itself remove records already stored by the application. Contact BizBolster to request disconnection, deletion, access or correction of information we control.

We verify requests and explain any limits, including records that must be retained under applicable law. Removing information from this application does not delete an original review on Google, SoTellUs or another source. Content exported to another system may require a separate removal step.



Policy changes and contact

This application is intended for business administration and is not directed to children. We update this policy when our practices change. If a change requires new Google permission, we request that permission before accessing the additional data.
